As I sit here looking out the window of our room at the Inn on Biltmore, the dense fog is gradually lifting away to reveal the magnificent mountain range off in the distance. Prior to my first sip of coffee, only the Immediate grounds of the Inn we're visible and now, down to my last drop, I can see the Winery and Antler Hill Village coming clearly into focus. The lush forest is popping out a compelling invitation to be hiked, and the grand peaks of the Appalachians stand as a reminder of the awesome power and majesty of our creator. How can I be nothing less than completely looking forward to spending the day with my best friend and beautiful bride of twenty four years.
